Partner Policy

Please, read this Partner Policy (“partner policy”, "policy") carefully before using Eatandseat.com website. Eatandseat.com is the website and application operated by EAT AND SEAT LTD. ("Eatandseat","us", 'we", "our"). By continuing to use EatandSeat.com, you expressly accept our policy.

This policy form part of the agreement with our partners. We will investigate and may take action (including suspending the provision of our services) if you breach these obligations.

Purpose:

Eatandseat acts as an agent between the partner and the user (customer), we do not offer delivery service, the delivery is the partner's responsibility. As a partner you agree this terms and conditions.

When the customer orders through us we will hold the payment for you, then every Wednesday unless bank Holiday you will receive in your bank account provided; the sales you made from the week before (Monday to Sunday).

Charges:

Eatandseat only charge 10% commission if you make the sell, we do not charge any fee to be a partner. We will deduct this charge every Wednesday prior sending the money to your bank account.

Delivery:

The partner is responsible for the food delivery, you can either do it yourself or arrange one. You are committed to deliver the food on time otherwise any return is your responsibility and the 10% commission applies anyway.

Return:

Any return requested by the customer will be investigated, either by delay of delivery or quality of food, in both case scenarios the 10% commission fee applied. We reserved the right to stop working with any partner if do not follow the terms and conditions or has a low score in rating reviews.

Allergens

Purpose:

We take customer safety very seriously and we’re confident that our partners do too. Stringent food hygiene processes and accurate information about what meals contain and how they are prepared are vital for people living with allergies who must be constantly vigilant about the food they eat. This policy sets out the standards that we expect partners to meet in order to sell their products through our platform.

What we expect from our partners:

You are responsible for ensuring that the products that you sell are safe and compliant with applicable law. We are giving you the tools to comply with these every time you add a new item in our Eatandseat platform you must tick if your recipe has any of the 14 allergens.

  • Information with a meal. You have a legal responsibility to add written notices of allergen content with each meal that you prepare, so that the customer has this information upon delivery. You can do this in the way that works best for you, for example this could be met by stickers on packaging or by including menus containing allergens information with orders.
  • Packaging. It is important to protect against cross-contamination at all stages, from storage and preparation to delivery. You must ensure the packaging that you use is robust enough for delivery purposes.
  • Allergens incident. In the event we become aware of a customer suffering an allergic reaction as a result of an order you have provided, we will notify you and ask you to investigate immediately. If you separately become aware of a customer suffering an allergic reaction as a result of an order you have provided, and you have received no communication from us, you will notify us of the incident as soon as possible.

Allergens

The 14 allergens that must be indicated if present in food are:

  • Celery
  • Cereals containing gluten (such as barley and oats)
  • Crustaceans (such as prawns, crabs and lobsters)
  • Eggs
  • Fish
  • Lupine
  • Milk
  • Molluscs (such as mussels and oysters)
  • Mustard
  • Peanuts
  • Sesame
  • Soya
  • Sulphur dioxide and sulphites (at a concentration of more than ten parts per million)
  • Tree nuts (such as almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, brazil nuts, cashews, pecans, and pistachios
